Domestic Violence Treatment Skills Training

It is already the middle of February.  Time flies when your training requirements or continuing education needs to be completed. Virtual Training Center courses continue to help new and existing Domestic Violence treatment providers meet their certification requirements. Coming up next week is Ongoing Assessment: Skills and Tools & Offender Responsivity to Treatment, February 22, 24, March 1, 3, 2011 – Noon Eastern;   10:00 A.M. Mountain; and Trauma Issues later the same dates at 5:00 P.M. Eastern;  3:00 P.M. Mountain time.

Ongoing Assessment: Skills and Tools & Offender Responsivity to Treatment is filled with tools to assess client’s progress through treatment. Through lively interactions using real case studies, you practice application of the tools presented.  The tools  help you measure your client’s progress through the various competencies as they move through treatment.

Trauma Issues helps you understand what victims experience because of domestic violence. Delve into the impact of life events on victims that result in trauma issues. Address the biopsychosocial trauma of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and associated trauma issues. Discover how trauma informed treatment provides you the clues to facilitate the healing process.

Registration closes, tonight, February 15, 2011 at midnight for Ongoing Assessment: Skills and Tools & Offender Responsivity to Treatment and Trauma Issues.
