Dr. Debra,
So many people, helping professionals as well as the lay public, do not realize that patterns of violence are passed down from one generation to the next. We tend to think of a violent man or woman as a “bad seed,” someone who has just gone wrong for some unexpected reason. The fact is, so much of this is highly predictable and can also be prevented. The violence can be stopped right now, in this generation. Thanks for offering such an important program.
Dr. Erica
